Porat je smješten „strateški“, blizu tržnice i ribarnice, u živopisnom području Gruža. Volite li kasne večere, preporučamo da se pridružite glavnom kuharu oko 23 h i budete prvi koji će dočekati vezanje velikih ribarskih brodova ispred restorana. Često svjež ulov (riba, rakova i mekušaca) odlazi ravno u kuhinju gdje se na kreativan način priprema i poslužuje gostima.

The chefs and owners, Ivana and Damir Raguž, together with their small friendly team of food enthusiasts, work hard to ensure that Porat earns its reputation for serving up delicious home-style cooking and traditional favourites prepared and presented with a special touch and lots of love for what they do.
Located in vibrant Gruž Harbour, Porat is “strategically” in the immediate vicinity of the farmer’s market and the fish market. For those who prefer to dine late at night, join the Chef at around 11 p.m. and be the first one to visit the large fishing boats as they dock in front of the restaurant. Very often the fresh catch (fish, crabs, and molluscs) goes directly into the creative kitchen and by midnight it is cooked and served to the guests.
Both inside and on its terrace, the Porat Restaurant & Bar exude an elegant yet relaxed atmosphere. Bathed in the bright colours of sunshine during the day and romantically lit during the evening, this impressive space is ideal for organizing magnificent lunches, dinners and private gatherings.

It’s difficult to choose just one thing to recommend from the menu, but after you finish with the appetiser – which you absolutely must have – try one of the steaks, as they are prepared to perfection!
