The Emergency Manager's Weekly Report distributes news articles and resources to various disciplines to include but not limited to emergency managers, homeland/national security professionals, the armed forces, public safety communication professionals, first responders, humanitarians, peacekeepers, civil protection professionals, public health professionals and researchers. Our overall goal is by providing this information we will inspire collaboration and coordination on a global scale. Page Rules:

The Emergency Manager’s Weekly Report’s main goal is to promote the exchange of information and encourage debate on policy and tactics. It is my belief that by debating the topics we all gain a better understanding of the issues and come away from the debate more informed than we were previously. To guide this I have established the following rules for the social media pages:

1. Personal attacks on individuals, organizations or agencies are counter-productive and unprofessional, they are not tolerated. If you are participating in these types of attacks your comment/post will be removed. It is at the discretion of the editor if you will banned from the page.

2. No one is allowed to advertise their company's services or products on this page. If you do you will receive one warning and the post will be removed. If you do it again you will be banned.

3. These pages share information on a variety of topics, some directly involving emergency management, some do not. If you don’t like something that is posted, you are free to debate it with your peers on this page. But this debate should be based on established facts and reason. If you just have a personal issue with the information posted don’t read it and refrain from commenting on it. Random outburst are unwelcome and discouraged. The editor reserves the right to remove comments/posts like this.

4. This site was not created to post open job positions, a great resource I have found for searching for and posting emergency management jobs can be found at: http://www.iaem.com/jobextboard.cfm?cat=job

5. I don't allow anyone to comment/post conspiracy theories or hate-filled messages. They will be deleted immediately and the person who posted it banned. The responsible individual may also be reported to the social media page provider for further action.
