Dubrovnik Museums consists of five units: the Cultural History, the Maritime, the Archaeological and the Ethnographic Museums as well as the Museum of Contemporary History. The mission of Dubrovnik Museums is to preserve, protect, present and interpret the local identity, history and culture of Dubrovnik, for the benefit of the general public, for the education of all groups of society and for the sustainable use of the cultural heritage. Our vision is to be a high quality example of the management, presentation and sustainable use of the cultural heritage and a place of reference for the interpretation of the historical and contemporary heritage of the city of Dubrovnik.
