Titled Memory, Belonging, Storytelling, this year’s programme follows a story from where it begins, in personal and collective memory, through the quiet work of writing and editing, to the moment it finally meets a reader, another art form, or an unfamiliar place. Over three days, conversations, author readings, a storytelling evening, and new title presentations bring the Croatian and Irish literary scenes into the same room, circling around family, homeland, migration, conflict, and exile, and the way literature holds different experiences, communities, and cultures together.

The lineup features Martin Doyle, Sheila Armstrong, Jessamine O’Connor, Louise Nealon, Faruk Šehić, Marinko Koščec, Dario Harjaček, Ivana Lovrić Jović, Danijela Crljen, Oona Frawley, Shane Tivenan, Claire-Lise Kieffer, Jelena Miholjević, Edi Matić, and Saša Drach, moderated by Staša Aras, James Candon, Patricija Horvat, and Aidan O’Malley.
