This 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲, 𝟐𝟗 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭, 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟗:𝟑𝟎 𝐏𝐌 𝐭𝐨 𝟏𝟏:𝟎𝟎 𝐏𝐌, Lumiart Dubrovnik – Light Festival returns to Sponza Palace for another special audiovisual event in the heart of Dubrovnik’s Old City.

Following the successful June presentation, Sponza will once again become a canvas for light, projections, animation and electronic music, offering a glimpse of the atmosphere that awaits us at this year’s 𝐋𝐮𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐅𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐃𝐮𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐧𝐢𝐤, 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝟐𝟑 𝐭𝐨 𝟐𝟓 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The audiovisual programme is produced by Pixel Design.

This year’s festival is dedicated to the 𝟒𝟎𝟎𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧 𝐆𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐢ć, one of Dubrovnik’s most important scientists, mathematicians and physicists. Inspired by his work in optics, geometry, mirrors and the study of light, Lumiart 2026 will connect Dubrovnik’s scientific and cultural heritage with contemporary art and new technologies.

Join us 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐳𝐚 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 for a special Lumiart teaser and the start of the final countdown to three nights of 3D mapping, light installations and audiovisual art this October.
